Travis Svendgard

Travis Svendgard is the Managing Broker of NP Dodge Real Estate’s 148th Street and Washington County offices. With more than 27 years of experience in real estate, Travis has built his career around leadership, agent development, and a commitment to serving both the industry and his community.

A lifelong resident of Blair, Nebraska, Travis graduated from Blair High School and began his real estate career with NP Dodge in 1999. During his years in sales, he gained experience in residential real estate, commercial properties, acreages, and new construction. That broad background continues to shape his practical, hands-on approach to management.

In 2015, Travis moved into leadership as Broker of the NP Dodge Washington County office. In 2021, he was selected to become Managing Broker of the company’s 148th Street office while continuing to lead the Washington County office. Today, he works closely with agents across both offices, providing guidance, training, accountability, and support throughout every stage of their careers.

Travis believes strong leadership starts with being accessible, involved, and willing to have honest conversations. He is passionate about helping agents build sustainable businesses, improve their skills, and navigate an increasingly complex real estate industry. Whether he is mentoring a new agent, working through a challenging transaction, leading a training session, or helping an experienced agent reach the next level, his goal is to give people the tools and confidence they need to succeed.

His leadership extends beyond the offices he manages. Travis serves on the NP Dodge Advisory Board and is actively involved with the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS®, including service on its Diversity Council. He is also a member of the Omaha Area Board of REALTORS® and the Southwest Iowa Multiple Listing Service.

Community involvement has always been an important part of Travis’s life. He has served as President of the Blair Family YMCA, as a board member for Washington County Habitat for Humanity, and as a member of the Blair Historic Preservation Alliance. Travis also spent 15 years coaching youth baseball, helping young athletes develop teamwork, confidence, and a strong work ethic.

Travis is married to Jaclyn Svendgard, and they have two grown sons, a grandson, and a granddaughter. Outside of real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing, attending sporting events, and volunteering with local organizations.
